Remember back in December when Avatar was the biggest thing since… well… EVER? And remember how all these news stories kept popping up about how people were depressed that their life was as beautiful or exciting as Avatar? There were groups to help depressed people deal with this new phenomenon, and we laughed and laughed at the poor sad dorks that were that kind of awful.
Well now Scott Pilgrim vs The World’s second trailer has appeared on Facebook, and not a moment too soon. We almost rioted. Frankly I WANT TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD! Of all the realities that exist in film this is the one I most desperately want to exist in. I can have super powers and nobody acts like it’s a big deal. Ontop of that everyone is witty and when I take a sword to some one they turn into thousands of arcade tokens.
This might be the definition of epic win. It’s like everything I’ve ever loved and worshiped came to life and surrounded me while Prodigy played one of their best songs continually at full volume while I reigned supreme over my group of friends as the most awkward and easily likable of them all.
