Chris Evans looks ready to take down some Nazis!
Empire has given us this exclusive shot of Evans in his red and blue full CAPTAIN AMERICA costume. He’s not wearing the helmet in the first pic but you can’t complain when you see that raw emotion on his face. Why so angry, Steve? Oh, right, Red Skull.
We’ll get a lot more from CAPTAIN AMERICA when the magazine hits news stands on February 3. However, a choice quote from Marvel’s Kevin Feige stood out to me:
“Scripts had been developed that took place half in World War Two, half in the modern day and none of those scripts were particularly successful because the costume ended up overshadowing the man. So we finally said, ‘If we could make a Captain America movie any way we wanted to make it, how would we make it?’ Well, we’d set the entire movie in the past, in that period, with all of the Marvel trimmings. And so we made the fun, kick-ass Captain America movie we wanted to.”
Please, please, please be good.
Below is another shot from the magazine, courtesy of Comic Book Movie. You get to see Evans with his famous helmet in that one. Another picture to silence those who didn’t think he looked the part.
