Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS moved to June 2012

I can’t keep up with all these changing release dates.

When Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS was announced a couple weeks back, Fox said the film would debut on March 9, 2012. Kind of a weird date for what might be a big blockbuster but whatever. They could release this movie in the dead cold of January and I would wait in line for it.

Then last week, a couple movies got switched up. Disney moved FRANKENWEENIE from March to October and JOHN CARTER OF MARS from June to March. Now Fox is deciding it’s moving PROMETHEUS too. Yikes guys, make up your minds!

The new release date for PROMETHEUS is June 8, 2012. That’s a perfect date for it! Though, as I said, I’d see this whenever they’d let me.

PROMETHEUS (which is not an ALIEN prequel) is directed by Ridley Scott from a script by Damon Lindelof. Noomi Rapace is starring. Now that we have a release date, can we please know a little more about this movie?

Thanks to /Film for the heads up.
