First look at Hanks’ LARRY CROWNE

Airing after the debacle that was last night’s Oscar awards show, Jimmy Kimmel had on Tom Hanks for some fun skits and chatting.  While there, Hanks debuted a clip from him upcoming romantic comedy LARRY CROWNE. And just like every film he is in, you gotta love him!

LARRY CROWNE  is about a middle aged man who goes back to college after losing his job.  His teacher is Julia Roberts and, in the words of Hanks, “guess what happens America??!” Hanks wrote and directed the film and judging by the clip, the chemistry between him and Roberts is undeniable.  In the clip, Roberts is drowning out the annoying voice of her GPS with opera from the HMS Pinafore. Hanks rides up, looking like a loveable goofball on his Vespa.

The film also stars Wilmer Valderama (THAT 70’S SHOW), Peter Scolari (BOSOM BUDDIES), Bryan Cranston (BREAKING BAD), Taraji P. Henson (THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON) and grrrRita Wilson (Hanks’ real life wife).  LARRY CROWNE opens July 1st and the clip start around the one minute mark.
