A couple weeks ago, we got a look at the trailer for James Wan’s haunted house chiller INSIDIOUS and today we’ve got the movie poster. Featured prominently is Ty Simpkins, the child of Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne’s characters. What looks like reflections in his eyes, are actually the words “Insidious” and “Is”, leaving the viewer to finish the phrase. Creepy! Spooky! Thrilling!
This horror film is the terrifying story of a family who shortly after moving discover that dark spirits have possessed their home and that their son has inexplicably fallen into a coma. Trying to escape the haunting and save their son, they move again only to discover that it was not their house that was haunted.
The film comes from the director-writer team of James Wan and Leigh Whannell(SAW), and is produced by the masterminds behind PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: Oren Peli Jason Blum and Steven Schneider. Patrick Wilson(WATCHMEN), Rose Byrne (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS), Barbara Hershey (BLACK SWAN) and Lin Shaye (THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY) round out the cast.
