All the praise you’ve heard for the Norwegian film TROLL HUNTER is accurate. Trust me, the movie truly does kick that much ass. It was easily one of the best films at last year’s Fantastic Fest, a complete surprise that won over audiences and critics. I’m pleased as punch that the movie is making its way to our shores, even if it’s just on VOD or a few select theaters.
A new trailer for the mockumentary is online. Warning: it gives you a few fairly complete looks at the titular trolls. If you want to go into this thing completely fresh and in the dark (like I did) you might want to pass on the preview.
TROLL HUNTER is a lively little movie about a group of student film makers that stumbles upon a man who, well, hunts trolls. The film could have been a boring horror movie or a gruesome affair but it’s actually really fun and quite humorous too. Like I’ve said, I can’t recommend it enough.
