People didn’t really like THE HANGOVER PART 2 (Well, critics didn’t like it, fans seems to enjoy it) but that isn’t stopping THE HANGOVER 3.
THR reports that Warner Bros has hired Craig Mazin, co-writer of last week’s sequel, to pen a third film in the series. Where it will take place or when it will be released are under wraps. Let me take a guess: our three leads will forget about a night of debauchery. Am I close, WB? Getting warm? Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are expected to return. Maybe Mel Gibson will finally show up too.
THE HANGOVER PART 2 was green-lit before the first film was released. For all the critical complaints, THE HANGOVER PART 2 has raked in over $200 million worldwide. A third movie was a no-brainer. And you know what, the third will probably do really well too.
Director Todd Phillips has mentioned that he has an idea for THE HANGOVER 3 but won’t say what it is. I honestly can’t imagine it’s that different from the first two. Oh, maybe it’s set in space!

The Hangover 3 should be filmed in Europe like Amsterdam!!! ae guys?
The hangover part 3 should take place in new orleans, since Todd Phillips wants it to be different from the first two films, have it revolve around a 40th birthday party for Alan. So Phil, Stu, and Doug decide to take him to new orleans for a pre-birthday night out. But they wake up the next morning in a jailhouse, Doug has his ear pierced, Stu has a grill in his teeth, a dead body is in the trunk of there car, and above all that, Alan is in a mental institution. So Phil, Stu, and Doug must again piece up the clues of the forgotten night and break Alan out to get him back to his birthday on time.
