The supposedly leaked trailer for David Fincher’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO made quite a buzz last weekend and with good reason, it was terrific. But now we have an official trailer from Sony and while it’s green band, it’s still quite great.
I just love awesome trailers and this definitely is. The music, the editing, the darkness and overall vibe you get from this is outstanding. Best of all, it looks and feels like a Fincher film, something that attracts any serious movie fanatic. I wasn’t very excited for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO before but this preview is pure brilliance. What more would you expect from this director?
And how about that cover of “Immigrant Song” by Karen O and Trent Reznor? Can we get that on iTunes now please?
Not a whole lot is different between the two versions. There are some different shots, a lack of nudity and blood but overall it feels the same. I can’t wait to see this thing on the big screen.
THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgård, Robin Wright and Christopher Plummer. It opens December 21st but I doubt you’ll take your family to see it.
