People pay attention to everything Christopher Nolan does. The guy could make a simple offhanded comment and it’ll be devoured by the blogosphere (guilty as charged!). Therefore, when the man does something substantial, like attach himself to a new movie, it gets noticed.
Deadline is reporting that Nolan and his partner Emma Thomas are producing a supernatural thriller for Warner Bros. They’ve tapped Keith Gordon (best known for his work on DEXTER and THE KILLING) to write and direct the feature. Not much else is known except that it’s based on a novel. Which novel? We’re not sure yet.
This is big news, simply because Nolan is very picky about his work. Thus far, he’s only produced films he directed, with the exception being MAN OF STEEL. How hands on will he be? Will this look and feel like a Nolan film or just bare his name in the credits? This is also a big deal for Gordon. The actor-turned-director has just landed a major deal, one that will surely be monitored by journalists and bloggers alike.
It’s a Christopher Nolan production so let the speculation begin!
