Remember when celebrity fights had more grit to them? George Clooney punching David O. Russell on the set of THREE KINGS, Bette Davis versus Joan Crawford, Klaus Kinski versus Werner Herzog, David Hasselhoff versus life (I just hassled the Hoff…BOOM).
What do we have now? Reality star slap-fights, quibbley bibbley rap wars that sometimes result in gunplay and the (now formerly) fat kid from SUPERBAD versus this generations Fred Astaire (wannabe).
Last week I reported (yeah that’s what that was) that MONEYBALL star and incredible shrinking man Jonah Hill had beef with GLEE star Mathew Morrison, but now it looks like this shit just got real with Morrison calling Hill out for a tickle fight, or an Act Off, or some kind of Pog tournament.
No date has been announced yet for the Jonah Hill/Mathew Morrison laser tag showdown on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON but I assume/hope that Seth Rogen and Jane Lynch get to serve as some kind of Jimmy Hart and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan style crazed managers.
Imagine I had better photo shop skills and super-imposed Rogen's head on Hart's body (L) and Lynch's head on Heenan's body (R). Man that would be rad.
Here is Morrison’s showy clip. Personally I expect Hill to take GLEE-Boy in 2 rounds of Yahtzee but Morrison might be a pincher. Goodness I miss CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH.
