It’s understandable if you’re a little sick of holiday films but you should still check out this new trailer for Sony Animation and Aardman’s ARTHUR CHRISTMAS. The movie looks quite adorable even if you’re a crotchety old Scrooge.
ARTHUR CHRISTMAS goes behind-the-scenes and reveals how Santa visits every house on X-Mas night. With a dedicated, talented and precise crew, Santa is able to do his job on time every year. But something goes wrong when one child is missed and now it’s up to gangly, clumsy Arthur to fix things.
As expected with Aardman, the animation style is cartoony, emotive and unique. As well, they’ve rounded together a stellar cast consisting of James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent, Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton and Ashley Jensen. Honestly, who better to play Santa than Jim Broadbent? That man has the jolliest voice!
ATRHUR CHRISTMAS looks like fun. It might be a charming time for the whole family during the cold winter months. Plus, it’ll shut the kids up for a couple hours.
