One would think that, contrary to the lyrics in Mel Brooks’ Tony winning musical, after Brett Ratner stepped down, no one would be singing “I wanna be a producer!” Looks like someone is singing that tune, and that’s Brian Grazer, reports the Huffington Post. Grazer, who is well known for producing many of Hollywood’s biggest films like FROST/NIXON and THE DA VINCI CODE, will need to find a host before he does anything else. Grazer won an Academy Award for the film A BEAUTIFUL MIND, which was directed by his creative partner Ron Howard (who also won an Oscar). As the fire that is this year’s Oscars heats up, one can only hope that we’ll get a host that can handle it. You know, instead of running pell-mell from the kitchen.
