Best News Ever: See Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln In Modern Day Casual Wear!

We here at VeryAware don’t usually run with on set photos of actors. In fact, we prefer to wait for the official studio first look photos, so as to not ruin any of the movie making magic. However, we had to bend our rules just a little as our excitement for Steven Spielberg’s LINCOLN just can not be contained.

Thanks to the fine folks at Movieline, we are treated to a look at transformative actor Daniel Day-Lewis with his Lincoln-y beard and hairdo. Not only is the resemblance jaw droppingly similar, but Variety’s Jeff Sneider Tweeted a report that he “hasn’t broken his Lincoln accent since March” and his “real name doesn’t ever appear on the call sheet.” Now that’s dedication and why he earns the acclaim. He’s so method! I wonder if he’s also sticking to a diet, eating only the things President Lincoln would have eaten too?!
