Oh boy. Things aren’t looking good for poor Batman.
A new poster for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES has been released and it’ll increase the heart rate of any comic book fan. The poster features Bane walking away from a broken Batman mask left littered on the ground. As we all know, Bane “broke” Bats in the comics, shattering his back and taking him out of commission for awhile. Many have wondered how dangerous and brutal Nolan’s Bane will be – will he really put an end to Batman? – and this poster proves that he’ll do plenty of damage to our hero.
And how about that ominous tagline? Of course the legend ends, this is Nolan and Bale’s last Batman film. But how will it end? With a crippled Batman perhaps? Surely he can’t be defeated, right?
Right?
This is some powerful and scary imagery. Great stuff.
