That image above is the first poster for Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS. Soak it in, friends, because I’m sure Scott won’t give away much before the film’s debut.
The movie revolves around a team of space travelers who venture to the furthest reaches of space to discover some of the universe’s greatest mysteries. And while it might not sound like it, the film will tie into the ALIEN mythology in some way. Space jockeys perhaps? One can only hope.
Let’s not forget that this will be an intense science fiction flick. The tagline implies that things will get awfully hairy for our crew. “The search for our beginning could lead to our end.” See, this is why I don’t go into space.
Dark, menacing, ominous. Feels like an ALIEN film to me.
PROMETHEUS stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Guy Pearce, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green and Patrick Wilson. It opens June 8, 2012.
