If you were paying attention on Twitter this weekend, you’d have seen many tweets coming out of #BNAT (or Butt-Numb-A-Thon) that they were the first audience to view the trailer for G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. Since good things come to those who wait, a few days later we finally get to see what all the hubbub is about. And fuck yes – it looks fantastic!
Hiring John M. Chu (STEP UP 2 & 3) to reboot this franchise was the right move. And with a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (the writing team that brought us ZOMBIELAND), actual street cred comes with this kick ass package. The film stars Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, and Bruce Willis.
