It’s tough being an international man of espionage and intrigue. You’re always on the go, always shooting people, always sleeping with beautiful women. Sometimes you just need to take a break and relax.
James Bond knows this better than anyone. That’s why he’s chilling by the pool in this first image from the 23rd Bond film, SKYFALL. You may ask why producers decided this should be the first image. There are plenty of other things they could have shown! And to that I say: well, you’re right. It’s an odd choice. But hey, we’re lucky the damn thing is getting made.
Obviously this won’t be the last image from the film. We’ll get tons of Bond action in the months to come. So what if the first picture is of Bond dipping his feet in a pool? It’s not like the whole movie is going to be about swimming!
