That image above is the first poster for Jennifer Westfeldt’s FRIENDS WITH KIDS. The comedy centers around a pair of pals (Scott and Westfeldt) who decide they want to have a child without becoming an actual couple. The first trailer, which debuted last week, suggests things get complicated. Don’t they always?
The poster above is pretty standard rom-com fare. A lot of smiling faces (though Rudolph and Ed Burns decided to smirk instead), a cityscape in the background and a cute tagline. But it’s not posters that sell a film like this, it’s the cast and buzz. So far, FRIENDS WITH KIDS has both.
