Also Available This Week

Also available this week is the Brent Ratnerfest TOWER HEIST, the absolutely incredible MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE starring Elizabeth Olsen.

If you’re in the mood for some pornstache goodness, try SON OF NO ONE with Channing Tatum, though JC might convince you otherwise.

Clint Eastwood’s UNFORGIVEN is available on blu-ray as well as the Bill Murray comedy MEATBALLS.

The BBC America series THE FADES is available along with the 80’s animated series HEATHCLIFF.

If you’re in the mood for a mix of camp, nostalgia, and murder, check out BAD ACTRESS, starring Beth Broderick, who most of us remember as Aunt Zelda in the Sabrina The Teenage Witch series from the 90s.

Best Buy has a handful of good deals this week, including the Special Edition of the first season of THE WALKING DEAD, the second season of ARCHER, and the fourth season of MAD MEN for $19.99 and THE DARK KNIGHT and INCEPTION on blu-ray for $12.99.

Manny’s Pick

My pick this week is THE WAY, starring Martin Sheen and written and directed by Emilio Estevez, the esteemed coach of The Mighty Ducks – represent. The film centers around a doctor (played by Sheen) who has to travel to St. Jean Pied de Port, France to collect the remains of his adult son (Estevez) who died while attempting the The Camino de Santiago, also known as The Way of Saint James. He chooses to take up the trail his son started and meets a host of people along the way who are all taking the trip for their own reasons. While the premise sounds simple, it’s all executed well and definitely worth your time. You can rent it for four bucks on YouTube, and it’ll make you feel better because it’ll help you forget about Charlie Sheen.

See you next week!
