FX Renews JUSTIFIED For Fourth Season

I’m going to go out on a limb and say JUSTIFIED is one of the best dramas on TV. That’s actually not a risky thing to say since most everyone agrees that the Timothy Olyphant drama is consistently fantastic, exciting and fun. It seems that FX agrees because they just renewed the show for a fourth season.

Deadline quotes producer Graham Yost who says “There are many reasons all of us on Justified are grateful to get a chance to do another season. We get to do more work with amazing actors, writers, producers, directors, musicians, editors and a jaw-droppingly talented crew.”

JUSTIFIED has grown from an episodic series about U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens into an examination of crime and justice in rural Kentucky. The show is carried by brilliant performances from Olyphant, Walton Goggins, Natalie Zea, Joelle Carter and Nick Searcy. This season’s cast also includes Neal McDonough and Mykelti Williamson. Previous villain Margo Martindale won an Emmy for her portrayal of Mags Bennett. I’m guessing she won’t be the only performer to pick up an award for the show. In fact, if Goggins doesn’t finally win a long overdue Emmy for his work I’m going to pull my hair out.

It’s good to know Raylan still has a lot of ass-kicking and gun-shooting left in him.
