My 3rd husband Bradley Cooper has a track record of playing unlikeable and yet still rather relatable men. And he’s added another one of those kinds of characters to his resume with CBS Films’ THE WORDS, where the actor plays a desperate author who plagiarizes someone else’s work. Harsh consequences follow.
Also starring Oscar®-winner Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and Zoë Saldana, the romantic drama follows young writer Rory Jansen (Cooper) who finally achieves long sought after literary success after publishing the next great American novel. There’s only one catch – he didn’t write it. As the past comes back to haunt him and his literary star continues to rise, Jansen is forced to confront the steep price that must be paid for stealing another man’s work, and for placing ambition and success above life’s most fundamental three words.
This looks like a poignant and intriguing storyline that I’ve been salivating to see it since those lucky few of you caught it at this year’s Sundance. This is also the film where Cooper scooper met his (rumored) current squeeze that lucky jerk Zoë Saldana.
THE WORDS is in theaters on September 21. Thank you Yahoo Movies!

I was among the “lucky few” who saw “The Words” at Sundance. In addition to loving this film, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to Bradley (handsome, funny, warm, and personable), Zoe (beautiful and sweet– got a hug from her), Dennis (great guy, very funny– got a hug from him also. I felt like we bonded.), and Ben Barnes (super nice and future superstar). What a treat! They all gave excellent performances and are all delightful people.
