Louis C.K. has given us three seasons of brilliant TV, the guy deserves a break. A long, long break.
The Wrap says C.K.’s series LOUIE will take an extended hiatus until Spring 2014. C.K. is doing this for creative reasons, he thinks the hiatus will make him “feel hungry.” As well, the long break will allow the comedian time to focus on his stand-up. He plans to shoot the next season in September and October of 2013 for a Spring 2014 premiere, which gives him much more time to write, shoot and edit. You’ve got to remember, C.K. does everything on this show, he’s a busy guy.
C.K. says he won’t approach season four like the first three. In his eyes, seasons one, two and three were like a trilogy. Now that it’s complete, he wants to push the show in a new direction. LOUIE is continually surprising and different so I can only imagine where C.K. wants to take things. I’m on board. Take us away, Louis!
